Hello! Welcome to my e-portfolio
My name is Victoria Lee Purcell. I am eighteen years old. I graduated from Good Hope High School. I am currently attending Wallace State Community College two days a week. I started at Wallace my senior year of high school when I dual enrolled both English 101 and English 102. I quickly fell in love with Wallace and all it had to offer. When I first began my journey at Wallace I chose to start with my basics by majoring in general studies, but I have recently changed my major to General Studies: Sonography. I had planned to transfer to Auburn University for veterinary medicine. However, even growing up I have always had a very indecisive personality and it shows when i'm trying to decide on a career. I love the atmosphere at Wallace and I have been lucky enough to make so many new freinds. I also love the new challenges wallace has given me as well as the new study technics that will help me with my future endeavors. By the end of this year I hope to have found a major that best suits me and I think that could be Sonography. Starting Wallace I was terrified to start my college career of not knowing what I wanted to accomplish, but I have met so many nice people who have helped me plan a path that will evently help me plan a sucessful future. I have two cousins who both work in a Diagnostic imagining and sonography. They both allowed me to job shadow and I really enjoyed it. I had never thought of majoring in anything like that before, but after that opputinuity I reliazied it was a very enjoyable job. Though I have also thiught about majoring in medial coding, which I feel would also be a good career. The thought of haveing to decide at 18 what I want to do for the rest of my life frightens me. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars to one day wake up and find I don't like the path I've choosen for myself. I am trying to take this decision serious and not rush into a major. I hope you enjoyed this entry about me.
